Strategies to improve quality of gravity die casting for Sn-Pb alloy are outlined here by modifying the mould's gating system, i.e. mainly down sprue and well. Analysis based on experimental work 27 products delivers a promising result industrial application. Quantitative analysis porosity defect in this was density analysis.
